It looks like there's some municipalities and hospitals in that range but not stuff like the state police or local police.
From what I see on RR, most everything in Southern New Jersey is VHF or on a P25 phase 2 800mhz system. Keep in mind this is a 450-520mhz version, and if you want 70cm ham frequencies on there, you're gonna have to tinker with things.Įdit I just saw you plan on using this as a scanner. Get a serial version, a cheap Chinese one is usual fine, and use a good serial to USB adapter, FTDI are the preffered chipset. You will also need the cable which is serial only.
MotoTRBO is for the XPR series of DMR radios, it won't work with the HT1250. There are multiple versions of Motorola's CPS depending on the radio.
